Summary
- We do not collect your seed phrase, private keys, or backup passwords.
- All wallet credentials are stored locally on your device using encrypted secure storage.
- Encrypted backups are created by you and saved wherever you choose.
- We do not sell personal data or run advertising analytics.
Information stored on your device
The following never leaves your phone unless you explicitly export it:
- Recovery phrase (12-word seed) or imported private keys
- Wallet name and app preferences
- Encrypted backup files you export
Third-party services
To function, Metrust communicates with:
- Public blockchain RPC nodes — to read balances and broadcast transactions
- Block explorers (Etherscan, BscScan, Polygonscan, Solscan) — when you open links
- WalletConnect relay — encrypted session messages when connecting to dApps; your private keys are never transmitted
These services may log IP addresses per their own policies.
Biometrics
Fingerprint and face authentication are handled entirely by Android. We never receive biometric data.
Children
Metrust is not intended for users under 18.
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for safeguarding your recovery phrase. We cannot recover lost wallets.
