1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Metrust ("the App"), you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the App.
2. Nature of the service
Metrust is a non-custodial software wallet. We do not hold, control, or have access to your cryptocurrency, private keys, or recovery phrases. You are solely responsible for your wallet credentials and transactions.
3. No financial advice
Metrust does not provide investment, tax, or legal advice. Cryptocurrency involves substantial risk of loss. You are responsible for compliance with laws in your jurisdiction.
4. Your responsibilities
- Safeguard your recovery phrase and backup passwords
- Verify all transaction addresses and amounts before confirming
- Understand that blockchain transactions are irreversible
- Use testnet mode to learn before sending mainnet assets
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or compatibility with all blockchains or dApps.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Metrust and its developers shall not be liable for any loss of funds, data, or profits arising from use of the App, including lost recovery phrases, phishing, user error, or third-party service failures.
7. Third-party services
The App interacts with public blockchains, RPC providers, block explorers, and WalletConnect. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
